Improv Oligarchy in The Darky

I, and others, believe that improv has taken a bad turn here in LA. Some say it's hierarchical because of the business structure and the competition in this town. I say that it's a Chicago thing and it's fallen far from the tree, and that it's all the more reason to head out to Chicago to see some real improv. People are so damn distracted out here with all the opportunities coming at them, and they don't want to end up like the guy they have to step over to get to their ATM, so the financial pressure is tough to. It's OK America, I want to give you a hug. And LA too.
