next stage

Next stage is a good theatre because Chris Berube is a good guy who wants things to happen. he seems to have a good grasp on what's what. It's unfortunate that he has been crossed too many times and that's representative I think of the wierd girls who kind of prowl the theatre scene out here. It could be that guys don't belong in theatre or maybe theatre doesn't belong in LA, but there is so much laziness in the theatre scene out here it's wierd. And then invariably there is some girl who is backed up against a wall near show time with her five minute monologue and she feels the need to lash out to whomever she thinks she can get away with. it's a wierd dynamic I never understood they want us all to think that they have some biker boyfriend waiting for them after the show which is just silly too, you know, the whole diva motif never made sense. Either bring it or sit down you know. Luckily lately there hasn't bee much of that.

WORKING WITH THE B WORD

I have had a pretty huge encounter with an actress. Some people just drive you wild. I don't think it's right to drop from someone's show. I really don't like getting in fights with these girls. This is to form a great newsletter so check it out and let's all be successful actors.

Nevermore
An evening with Edgar Allan Poe.
...Prose, Poetry and Perversion...

Celebrate the bicentennial of Edgar Allan Poe's birth with the star of Re-Animator, From Beyond, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine / Enterprise. Set in 1848, Nevermore is loosely based on real events and follows Poe on a cross-country speaking tour fraught with strange occurrences that signal Poe's descent into madness. Read an interview with writer, Dennis Paoli in FANGORIA.

APARTMENT FOR $400

I am splitting my studio for a little bit but it's in a great part of town. The landlord is a little wierd but overall I think it's a great idea. I highly encourage anyone who is looking for a place to stop on by and check it out because it's a wonderful thing. Short term. Always short term, because we're all going to be living in mansions soon anyway, right?!
